Will your furniture fit the new place?

Take the room sizes off the listing floorplan, drop in your furniture at true scale, and find out before the removal van does. Your layout saves automatically on this device.

Measure the widest points, including arms and handles.

Rules of thumb the pros use

  • • Keep 60–70cm walkways between furniture — 90cm on main routes through the room.
  • • Allow 75cm of pull-out space behind dining chairs and desk chairs.
  • • Beds need 50cm+ along each open side for changing sheets without bruises.
  • • Doors sweep roughly a 80cm quarter-circle — keep it clear.
  • • Fits in the room but will it get through the door? Run the furniture fit checker.

Preset sizes are UK-typical footprints — always measure your actual pieces at their widest points. Floorplan dimensions are usually wall-to-wall maximums; alcoves, radiators and bay windows eat into them.
